Uncovering your writing life through Writing from your Heart: memoir and journaling
I have been teaching this particular class in memoir and journaling for many years. We began as an in person group in Tiburon. During the pandemic, we moved to a virtual group where we remain today. I am fascinated that everyone has stories worth telling, and I believe that writing these stories is a vital part of living with self-awareness.
Life moves quickly, often filled with lists to complete, but never fully relaxing into your own writing life or taking your story seriously enough to sit down and reflect. Yet, amidst these milestones, we frequently overlook the essence of our journey and people who have influenced us along the way.
Take time to reflect, cradle your experiences as you would a newborn, and write them down. Remember, there is only one you – you are unique, and your story is unlike any other.
